I go to a lot of Papal Events. A lot. When I first moved to Rome, I went to every Papal Audience and Mass for a full year. Plus I’ve been taking groups to Papal Events for 11 years. Few things compare to the excitement of seeing the Holy Father.
I provide this up-to-date Papal Calendar to make it simple for you to see when the Holy Father has something planned and to easily request tickets. The info is completely free.

A few things to note…
Tickets to Papal events are always free. Always.
No tickets are required for the Angelus or Regina Caeli in Saint Peter’s Square.
Tickets are required for Papal Audiences and Papal Masses in Saint Peter’s Square. However, if you do not have tickets, you can usually get in, you just might be near the back of the piazza. Even so, it’s best to go ahead and request the tickets. Tickets are free. It’s best to request them from the U.S. Visitor’s Office – if you are from the U.S.
Tickets are required for Papal Masses and Papal events inside Saint Peter’s Basilica and the other churches he visits throughout Rome. These tickets can sometimes be very carefully checked and very hard to get. Tickets are free. Tickets are best requested requesting tickets directly from the Holy Father.
