Simplify. Simplify. Simplify.

That’s what I’ve been doing with this website for the last several years. The point, of course, is to help you focus on what is important.

No social shares. No ads. No pop ups. No sidebars. No distractions.

Simplify. Focus.

It’s shocking how hard it is to run a complex website, but keep it simple and focused. For the last few years, I’ve had to heavily tweak my themes to be simple. And with some platforms, that meant installing plug-ins. That makes no sense at all!

Thankfully, Chris Pearson, of DIY Themes, has been working hard to simplify the web so we can Focus on what matters.

He quietly released his latest skin for Thesis, Focus, overnight (Rome time). When I woke up this morning, I downloaded it, grabbed the iPad Pro, went for coffee, and got to work.

I am thrilled with how it turned out!

I went from several hundred lines of custom CSS to 40. That’s amazing.

Now I can focus more of my time to creating content and tours.
