On the First Saturday of each month you can attend Mass in English at the tomb of Saint John Paul II.
The Mass is organized by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, the same Sisters who host the official English Sunday Mass in Rome at Santo Spirito in Sassia each week.
The Mass begins at 7:15 a.m.
The tomb is located in Saint Peter’s Basilica in the chapel next to the Pieta.
The basilica opens at 7 a.m. with security opening at 6:45 a.m.
There are only enough seats for about 30 people, so arrive early or plan to stand.
It is possible for visiting priests to concelebrate.
