Lourdes: After a brief layover in Paris, we’ll fly south to Lourdes. We’ll ease into France in this most holy place located in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains.

Lourdes: Today we’ll bathe in the healing baths, drink from the miraculous spring and pray the Stations of the Cross. Tonight we’ll participate a candlelight procession.

Amboise: We’ll head out early this morning and travel by train to the Loire Valley. We’ll sleep near the town Leonardo da Vinci chose to spend his final years, Amboise.

Amboise: This afternoon we’ll visit the greatest château in Loire, the Château de Chenonceau.

Paris: We’ll depart this morning by train for the City of Lights. After we settle into our hotel, we’ll get oriented with the most beautiful city in the world. Today we’ll visit Notre Dame and Sainte Chapelle, see the Eiffel Tower and take a stroll down the Champs-Elysees.

Paris: We’ll begin our day with a visit to the Louvre. A local guide will take us through one of Europe’s greatest museums. We’ll have time for lunch before heading up Montmartre to visit Sacre-Coeur.

Paris / Chartres / Paris: This morning we’ll travel by train to the town of Chartres. We’ll visit Europe’s greatest Gothic cathedral before returning to Paris.

You must be able to carry your own luggage. You are responsible for your luggage and buses are not always able to pull right up to our hotels. Keep this in mind when trying to decide how many pairs of shoes to bring!
You should be in good physical shape. We will do a lot of walking, much of it outside. Somedays we may cover two to three miles at a decent pace.
You must be flexible! This is Europe, things may close without notice, a protest could spring up without warning. But, it’s not all negative, great things come up unexpectedly as well. Being flexible is the key for happy travels!
