Three Week Tour of Europe
January 2001: Paris, Nice, Monaco, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Madrid, Avila, Salamanca, Coimbra, Fatima, Lisbon
For months I planned a three month winter tour of Europe.
A job promotion changed my mind and I reduced it to three weeks.
Paris with my best friend and his girlfriend (now my wife).
From Paris it was solo all the way to Lisbon.
World Youth Day 2000
August 2000: Rome, Assisi, Orvieto, Florence, Loreto, Ancona, Bologna, Venice, Turin, Paris, Lisieux
A two week trip to Italy and France.
The first week spent with the teens from my parish.
The second week spent traveling north with a few close friends.
Plus a few days on my own in France!

A few months after my first trip to Italy, I knew I had to return.
I quit my job at a record label, packed my bags and headed to Italy alone!
