Looking for a quick, cheap, and excellent dining option near the Vatican Museums?
Just two short blocks from the entrance to the Vatican Museums is Feliziani. It’s on the way to or from the Metro.
A cappuccino is just €1 and a pastry is also €1. They even have cappuccino to go (yes, it’s a thing in Italy) so you can come here before your visit to the Vatican Museums.
You should sign up for one of my day tours of Catholic Rome.
This place can get packed with locals, just elbow up to the bar and place your order. There’s no additional charge to sit at a table!
For lunch, Feliziani has tons of options. Pizza by the slice, panini, pastas, meats, vegetables – all affordable.
Planning a Friday night visit to the Vatican Museums? Start first at Feliziani. They have a daily aperitivi (happy hour) where you can get an aperitivo, such as my favorite, the Aperol Spritz, AND a plate of pizza for just €5. Five Euro! The drink is strong and the pizza should be more than enough to fill you up.
Feliziani is just downstairs from my apartment and a place I visit at least once per day, sometimes even two or three times. In fact, we can even meet for coffee.
Hours: 8 AM – 8 PM / Closed Sundays
